Hospitality at Kawaguchiko Cheese Factory 🧀🧀 We purchase fresh milk from the dairy farm every day, and carefully make each cheese. There is a wide variety of cheeses, and you can try freshly baked caciocavallo on site 😋 Come and try cheese that can only be tasted here in Asagiri at the campsite! As it is a popular item, there are limited quantities. It will end once it is sold out. *It is held every Saturday, but please note that there may be days when it cannot be held depending on the number of visitors and the weather.
Farmer's hospitality

Fujimaru Nishi Farm is located near the campsite and is welcoming to you (^^) This farm has a history of over 70 years of raising cattle, grazing, and producing feed 🐄🐄 In addition to milk and yogurt made in the fertile environment of the Asagiri Plateau, they also have a wide variety of freshly baked breads and cookies, and even rich ice cream!!! 😋 There are many things that can only be tasted locally in the Asagiri Plateau!!! Be sure to stop by when you visit!! *As these are popular items on the day, they will end as soon as they are sold out. *Held every Saturday. (Please note that there may be days when the event cannot be held depending on the weather and the number of visitors.)
Campfire & Roasted Marshmallows

Campfire & roasted marshmallow event 🔥 Relax with a huge bonfire that you can't usually experience! Children can experience roasting marshmallows by attaching them to the end of a long bamboo stick. Can you roast them well without burning them? (^^♪ (The experience is free) *Please note that there may be days when we cannot hold the event depending on the weather and the number of visitors.
Catching fish

A children's event, a fish-catching event! (Adults can also participate) Catch rainbow trout and char in the fish-catching pond. Participation fee is 750 yen per person (tax included) 🐟 Aim to catch a luxury fish, char 🐟 ・You are guaranteed to take home one fish. ・Staff will prepare the fish. Please cook it at each site. Recommended way to eat: Put a little rosemary in the belly of the fish and slowly grill it over charcoal to add aroma and make it delicious. (Rosemary is provided free of charge) Please note that we may not be able to hold the event depending on the weather and the number of visitors. *There are days when char cannot be purchased.
Cooking rice in a stove

Cooking rice in a kamado! You can cook rice in a kamado using firewood, which you can't usually experience! Rice cooked in a kamado is better than rice cooked in a rice cooker 😋 Enjoy hot, freshly cooked rice! (Kamado, kettle, firewood, etc. are all free) Please bring your own rice! If you would like to use it, please let the staff know (^^)/ Please note that you may have to wait depending on the number of people using it.

Urban Camping Asagiri Takarayama is celebrating its 5th anniversary and has reopened!
Following the opening of three new tiny houses, we have also built a new trailer house (with deck) and a gazebo with clear curtains for peace of mind on rainy days in addition to the popular glamping tents! Enjoy urban camping for an even more comfortable camping experience♪
